Rhetoric for children
When purchasing the book in the Rhetoric Academy online store – it comes with a personal message from the author!
This is a story about a miracle. A miracle called The Word. Everything began with the Word. The Word is the Creator. The Word can heal, but it can also deeply wound.
We learn to think through words, and through thinking, we learn to live. The way we speak reflects the way we live. You can tell a lot about a person by how they speak. Speech easily reveals a person’s character.
The Word can change the world.
Rhetoric is one of the oldest arts of humanity. It is the art of persuasive speaking.
Rhetoric is conscious speaking – something entirely different from the unconscious, everyday speech we’re so used to.
Rhetoric is the art of free people. The inner art of those who are free. Free from fear, insecurities, and limiting beliefs. When a person is free, words flow freely from them; such a person is pleasant to listen to, someone you want to believe in and follow.
Rhetoric is a skill anyone can develop. Everyone can speak persuasively – it's just that… many have forgotten how.
To rediscover this skill, we must first get to know the seven elements of the art of rhetoric:
-
Our charisma;
-
Our thoughts – their influence and control;
-
Our breathing;
-
Our body;
-
Our voice;
-
The structure of our story;
-
Our native language.
And once we’ve become familiar with them – begin to train them.
When should you start learning?
The best time is Now.
