ACADEMY OF RHETORIC
ABOUT ME
Hello,
My name is Donaldas Duškinas. I’m a rhetoric teacher, author, lecturer, Gestalt psychotherapy practitioner, coaching specialist, and teacher of meditation and conscious breathing.
My professional journey began as a theatre director in a drama theatre. It was a fantastic experience – working with a wide variety of people from different generations and value systems: actors, set designers, costume designers, composers, and technical staff. My theatrical training was based on K. Stanislavski’s method – a deep psychological analysis of roles. In essence, it was practical psychology.
After my theatre years, I worked as a creative director in the corporate event industry – a field that combined creativity and business. It was an excellent stage of my life where I learned to align business client needs with artistic means of expression. Later, working in an international training company (as a trainer, consultant, and international project manager), I got to explore business psychology up close: I worked with business clients, analyzed their needs, and developed and delivered training programs both in Lithuania and abroad.
Since 2006, I have been working as a freelance rhetoric teacher, training facilitator, Gestalt psychotherapy practitioner, coaching specialist, breathing therapy and meditation teacher, and HR consultant for various organizations. This work demands constant interaction with very different kinds of people.
To sense, feel, and understand another person. To help them clarify their values, to hear what truly matters to them. To sense their authenticity and uniqueness – and help them release it. My working method is the coach training approach. It’s all about real conversations with training participants, open discussions, asking the right questions, and finding answers Here and Now. It’s 80% proven methods, hands-on practices, and real-life examples.
“The Academy of Rhetoric” is a space for learning and self-discovery. It’s about inner growth – both individually and in groups. It’s a path toward unleashing your inner potential, because rhetoric is the art of free people.
