Breathing meditation basics and practice. Online

Idea

Just a few minutes of meditation and self-reflection can help us realize higher life goals. What is meditation?

Meditation is a calm mind. Meditation is a mind focused on the present moment. Meditation is a mind without doubts and expectations. Meditation is a mind that has returned to the source. The deeper we rest, the more productive we become. Though deep rest and active engagement seem like opposites, they can complement each other. Meditation is not an action—it is the art of doing nothing!

While meditating, we rest more deeply than in the deepest sleep because meditation takes us beyond all desires. When we meditate, we let go of anger from the past and all plans for the future. To meditate is to accept the present moment and experience the fullness of each instant.

When we still often hear people say “either business or meditation,” I can only respond that this is a complete myth—one that is long overdue to be broken. Meditation and business not only go hand in hand, but also perfectly complement one another. The result of this union is relaxation, good health, and creative energy, which gifts the world with new ideas and much-needed discoveries.

Therefore, in this experiential introductory program, we will not only become acquainted with the practice of breathing meditation but will also try it out in practice.

  • Meditation and science.

  • The power of meditation. Breathing meditation: when science meets spirituality. Usually, we use only 30% of our breathing system’s potential. The respiratory system is the only system in our body that can function in two ways: automatically (unconscious breathing necessary for survival) or consciously (intentional breathing that reveals limitless human potential). Breathing system control—conscious breathing meditation—is a very simple yet one of the most effective ways to relax, manage stress, find inner balance, and significantly improve life quality.
