BREATHING MEDITATION. The basics and practice of conscious breathing

Are these states familiar to you?

Fear, anxiety, stress, fatigue, rapid breathing, shortness of breath, increased heartbeat, tense muscles, trembling, the urge to give up, self-devaluation, a lack of meaning…

Why do these states arise? Can I manage them?

The answer is simple: improper breathing has a significant impact on our ability to manage ourselves and the situation.

Who controls their breathing, controls the situation.
What is my breathing like? Do I breathe with my diaphragm or my chest? Does my breath flow freely or does it get blocked somewhere? Do I breathe only unconsciously, just to stay alive, or do I know how to breathe consciously?

We all need more energy—we all experience stress, tension, and fatigue. In order to manage it and succeed, we must be composed, energetic, calm, and in harmony. The importance of breathing is truly immense. Simple yet powerful breathing exercises can help you handle stressful situations more easily. Breathing techniques are one of the secrets that will help you achieve more, overcome tension, and maintain peace under any circumstances. Moreover, this mysterious source of strength is available to everyone! The most valuable natural resources lie right under our noses.

The power of meditation.

Breathing meditation: when science meets spirituality.
We use only 30% of our respiratory system’s potential. The breathing system is the only system in our body that can function in two ways: autonomously (unconscious breathing that keeps us alive) and voluntarily (conscious breathing that reveals our limitless human potential). Controlling the breathing system—through breathing meditation—is a very simple, yet one of the most effective methods to relax, manage stress, find inner balance, and significantly improve the quality of life.

Short Introductory Theory and 3 Foundational Conscious Breathing Practices:

1. Breath Observation – Awareness (Breathing Meditation). Most of the time, we are unaware of our breathing—it happens without us noticing. To compensate for this and regain balance and calm, we must meditate on our breath. The more aware we are of our breathing, the more aware we become of everything—our thoughts and emotions, our habits, patterns, postures, behavior... The more we become aware of our breathing, the more we become aware of our lives and everything around us. The deeper our awareness of breath, the more benefit we gain from conscious breathing practice.

2. Harmonizing Breath (to exhale stress). Balanced breathing promotes equilibrium and calmness. This practice involves equalizing the length of the inhale and the exhale (inhalation activates the sympathetic nervous system, while exhalation activates the parasympathetic).

3. Energizing Breath (when strength and energy are needed). If we feel tired or weak, but still have much to do, this practice (2–4 short inhales through the nose and one long exhale through the mouth) helps energize and refresh the body within minutes.

“21-Day Cycle of Breathing Practices – One for Each Day”

The respiratory system is the only system in the body that can function automatically and be consciously controlled. This is no evolutionary accident—it’s an opportunity, an invitation to explore our nature and participate in our own evolution.

This program is a continuous, 21-day conscious breathing skill development course, where participants are introduced to and practice various breathing techniques every day:

  • To manage stress

  • To generate energy

  • To reduce appetite

  • To boost immunity

  • To detox the body

  • To unlock creativity

  • To develop intuition, etc.

21 days are dedicated to building a new habit—mastering your respiratory system. This program helps participants understand the impact and benefits of conscious breathing. Conscious breathing is arguably the deepest of all practices. Through it, we relax so deeply that emotional blocks held deep within the body and psyche can be released.

After practice, a person experiences deep emotional, mental, and spiritual clarity and heart-opening. The physical body comes alive, becomes more vibrant, thoughts settle, emotions balance, and the spirit elevates.

It’s worth discovering. It’s worth knowing.
